We’ve got a fresh leak today, one related to LG’s upcoming powerhouse of a phablet, the Optimus G Pro. The device is supposed to go live on AT&T on May 1st and it has somehow managed to escape to the interwebs, through the picture shown below.

The usual suspect is part of the leak, @evleaks, showing us the goods. This device was showcased back at MWC and CES, so it has been long time coming. LG is expected to announce the device next week during a special event in New York city, with AT&T. This is a 5.5 inch phablet that wants to erase the memory of the Galaxy Note 2 from our minds, although it lacks the cool stylus of the Sammy device…

Frankly speaking, I don’t quite like where AT&T has gone with the device and its design changes make the LG Optimus G really ugly. The back side looks like a 1998 device, frankly and it’s a very plasticky unit. It may have a Snapdragon 600 quad core 1.7 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 3,140 mAh battery, but it’s still fugly. There’s also a 13 megapixel cam at the back and 4G LTE on AT&T.
