The LG Optimus L9 handset has leaked on the web yesterday and just hours after the leak came LG Netherlands and officially debuted the smartphone. This is a midrange device from the upper segment, a follow-up to the L9 launched last year.
We’re dealing with a 4.7 inch handset with a True HD IPS display, a dual core 1.4 GHz processor of unknown maker and a 2150 mAh battery. There’s an 8 megapixel rear camera here, a 1.3 MP front shooter and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean as the OS. I can speculate that we’re getting a Snapdragon 400 CPU here, but I can’t guarantee that.
We have no price for this unit, but we’ve heard it will hit the stores around October. With this model, the G2 and the G Pad, LG will have enough reasons to thrive during the holidays. Do you think these models will sell well?
