Everyone’s talking about the LG Optimus LTE P936, a handset that we’ve shown you in a Quadrant benchmark last week and we followed that with an explanatory article. Now we give you a preview of the phone, focused on the ability of the HD display on it, so we played a video and showed you some web browsing.

This handset looks just like the LG Optimus 4G LTE and also has the same specs and you must know that the LG Optimus 4G LTE has been selling on Bell in USA since last fall. This could be an European version of that phone, or an entirely new handset, perhaps that one we saw at the LG booth at MWC 2012. In case you remember when we were at MWC 2012, an LG representative showed us a similar phone, but that one had 4GB of internal memory (so they said at the booth, although they could be wrong), while our unit has 2GB of storage.

The highlight here is the HD display and this phone also has Android 2.3 as the OF choice, but there are 3 capacitive buttons at the bottom that indicate Android 4.0 is ready to come and it’s supported by those. The screen here is a 4.5 inch unit and we also have an 8 megapixel cam at the back with 1080p video capture. Under the hood there’s a dual core 1.5 GHz processor and a microSD card slot. In the following days I’ll be back with a full review of the handset, but till then its screen looks like the most impressive aspect.
