LG Prada Phone 3.0, the third flagship fashion phone from LG has just been launched in Korea and aims at a European launch in January, according to sources inside the biz. We’re dealing here with a 4.3 inch device with a 800 x 480 pixel IPS screen, a dual core processor (1GHz) and an 8 megapixel camera at the back. There’s also a 1.3MP front camera for videocalls, 8GB of internal memory and Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread as the operating system. LG promised an Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for this unit during Q2 next year. Right now the product is priced at about $776, a pretty hefty price, but that’s what you pay for the sense of fashion.
In the end you’ll get a 8.5mm thin unit with a black finish and 800 nits of brightness generated by its NOVA display. I’m curious when this model will arrive to the USA and other countries, aside from next month’s European debut. I’m having a hard time believing that this will sell well…
