A careful reader of our website sent to our inbox last night a tip about the fact that LG Electronics just published the Android Lollipop OpenSource Code for LG G2 (D802). This smartphone was launched back in August 2013 and is still doing a great job even now.
Once with this confirmation we could expect that the Lollipop package for LG G2 to arrive more quickly than planned, maybe right next month. Just like LG G3, the software based on Lollipop for its predecessor will arrive with Material Design, a new notification center and a carousel multitasking view.
Even if this smartphone dates from 2013, we still get a pretty capable device that offers a 5.2 inch Full HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB space of internal storage and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
