What’s strange is that we’ve come across a piece of news saying that this is a “Windows 7 phone”. While this sound too good to be true, the scoop is possibly talking about a Windows Phone 7 handset, with a minor omission from the operating system’s name. Here’s the device:

This leaked photo of the LG smartphone doesn’t show much of the WP7 OS and we know that the source of the pic is a Microsoft employee from France. Apparently, the unit features a 3.8 inch touchscreen, perhaps even a bigger AMOLED screen, plus a 5 megapixel camera, a QWERTY keyboard and the classic back, home and search keys.

As far as the design is concerned, this handset is thicker than the iPhone or Nexus One and for now, that’s all we got on the device. What do you say? WP7 or hoax?
