In case you didn’t know, there’s such a thing as a phone maker in China called Little Pepper. We learned today that they are preparing to launch a new handset tomorrow, dubbed Little Pepper S1.

The device is supposedly pictured above and has minimal screen bezels. Interestingly, this model is said to be using some sort of “Indian silk” or derived material for its case. In case this got lost in translation, I guess that what you’re actually getting is the feel of Indian silk, not the real material. Other than that we get a metallic body and what seems to be like an Android-based platform.

The price of this model is expected to be somewhere below $200 or even $160, according to the same source. Considering the latest trends in China, I’m also expecting a curved screen edge here, big battery, a fingerprint scanner and maybe HiFi acoustics.
