The Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus have been the topic of leaks ever since December last year. They are supposed to be anniversary models, that will help Meizu celebrate 15 years of existence. We recently learned that both phones were prepped for an April 22nd unveiling and now we get to see the Meizu 15.
The Meizu 15 is the basic model, with Full HD res, while the Meizu 15 Plus takes the diagonal and specs up a notch. There’s also a Lite version and all three of them have been certified already. Interestingly Meizu doesn’t seem to have gone with the already typical notch, preferring a very narrow bezel approach. One would be tempted to think that there’s a notch at the bottom of the facade, seeing how we can’t actually see the bottom portion.
The Meizu 15 seems to feature a tri bezel less design, much like Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S. The handset is said to have a 5.46 inch display with AMOLED tech and Full HD resolution. There’s also an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor inside, 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and a 2940 mAh battery. Meizu 15 Plus should jump to a 5.5 or even a 5.9 inch AMOLED panel and Quad HD res, plus 4 or 6 GB of RAM and a powerful Exynos CPU, according to leaks.
The dual 20 MP + 12 MP back camera is here, present on both models, as well as a generous 20 MP front camera. The Lite model should use a MediaTek CPU, 3 GB of RAM and HD+ screen.
