Just a few days ago we saw some leaked pictures of a new Meizu handset, rumored to be called the Meizu Blue Charm Metal. It stood out through the good looking design, metal case and the fact it ran Ali YunOS. Today Meizu confirms this phone and also offers a teaser for it.
You can see a Mendeleev table above, showing Aluminum and Magnesium highlighted, as the metals used for the case of the newcomer. The device is said to offer midrange specs and cost just $157. It’s expected to come on October 21st, with a 2.5D glass 5.5 inch screen, that supports a Full HD resolution. The same smartphone offers an octa core Mediatek MT6795 2 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.
It also has a 13 megapixel main camera and a front 5 MP shooter. The software platform on board is YunOS 3.1.6 and the handset will come in multiple colors, including pink and blue. A microSD slot is also promised and the handset has all the odds of becoming the cheapest premium built smartphone on the market.
