Today, during a special event, the Chinese company Meizu announced the launch of a YunOS version of the actual Meizu MX4 flaghship, device that offers the YunOS 3.0 platform, while the rest of the specs remain the same as the ones found on the standard edition of the phone. As you may know, yesterday it was announced the first device that runs on such a platform, more precisely the Philips i966.
Among its specs we have the same 5.36 inch IPS display with a 1.920 x 1.152 pixels resolution, a octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor (four Cortex-A17 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz + four Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz), a PowerVR G6200 MP4 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 16/32 or 64 GB of storage.
On this device we’re also going to get a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash. Is expected that this YunOS version of the Meizu MX4 flagship to arrive on the Chinese market for a $293 price tag.
