Meizu’s latest smartphone, the MX4 Pro is ready to debut in 14 cities in China on the morning of December 6th. The device is the current flagship of the Asian company, that has high hopes for the next year or so.

The device will be sold in places like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Wuhan and many more. The model doesn’t look very different from the Meizu MX4 launched in September, but this unit comes with more advanced features, including a 5.5 inch 2560 x 1536 pixel display and an octa core Exynos 5430 processor.

Meizu already announced that 6.7 million Chinese customers have registered to buy the device, which is a very good performance. Of course, not all of those people will actually get the phone, since the reservations aren’t exactly preorders. We have no idea when the MX4 Pro is coming to other markets, but we certainly hope it will.

Let’s just hope that the $406 price tag will be kept.
