Beside the Huawei Honor 7, device that was launched today in China, we also got to see another phone from the same country, more precisely the Meizu MX5. This phablet comes in a uni-body case made out of aluminum that weighs just 149 grams and measures 7.4 mm in thickness, a pretty good size for such a 5.5 inch device.
As we said something about display, you must know that this phone brings an AMOLED panel with Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Inside its thin case we have an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz (64-bit), 3 GB of RAM memory, 16/32 or 64 GB of internal storage.
Meizu MX5 brings a 20-megapixel rear camera (Sony IMX220) with dual-LED flash and laser autofocus. We also get a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3.150 mAH battery with quick charging features (from 0% to 25% in just 10 minutes).
Like all the phones launched this year, Meizu MX5 offers 4G LTE connectivity, a fingerprint scanner and Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with Flyme OS 5.0 custom interface applied on top. The price of the 16 GB model will be $290, while the 32 GB variant will cost you around $322.
If this storage isn’t enough for you, then the 64 GB version might be the right one, phone priced at $387 on the Chinese market.
