Micromax announced two new smartphones today, the Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro models, that stand out through premium design and fingerprint scanner. These models are supposed to be flagship devices, to that’s why we pay extra close attention to them.

They debuted during a “Guts to Change” event in Gurgaon and the Canvas 6 is the more prominent of the duo, thanks to a metal unibody design and a fingerprint sensor at the back. Both units have the same 5.5 inch Full HD screen and 13 MP rear cameras. They are also both powered by an octa core MediaTek Helio X10 processor.

As you can see the specs are very similar and the Canvas 6 comes in gold, while the Canvas 6 Pro is available in black. Both have the same starting price: $210.
