Micromax debuted today a new handset, the Canvas Pace 4G model, that packs a 5 inch screen and it’s available for less than $100. Priced at $98, this model is a dual SIM unit, with modest specs, that bring it closer to entry level devices, than midrange ones.

Canvas Page 4G runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and offers a 480 x 854 pixel resolution, plus it relies on a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.1 GHz, coupled with 1 GB of RAM and a 5 megapixel main camera. There’s also a 2 MP front shooter and 8 GB of storage inside. Micromax added a microSD card slot with support for up to 32 GB.

LTE Category 4 rounds up the specs list, with download speeds of up to 150 Mbps. The smartphone also brings a 2500 mAh battery, supposed to offer up to 9 hours of talk time and 375 hours of standby functioning. The handset is only available in black on eBay India.
