Micromax launched a new smartphone today, a model called Canvas Pulse 4G and packing 3 GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity and all of that for a mere $149. Available exclusively on Flipkart, the handset is pictured below.

It comes with a 5 inch 1280 x 720 pixel display with an IPS panel and an octa core MediaTek MT6753 processor rests inside, clocked at 1.3 GHz. On board we find 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 13 megapixel back camera with LED flash. Upfront there’s a 5 MP shooter and other specs include a 2100 mAh battery and AAC 1318 speakers.

This is a dual SIM model, with 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth. The handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and also comes with GPS and expandable storage. Its design is not bad looking, sandwiched between a metal frame and plastic back.
