Here’s another affordable phone coming out of India, this time a Micromax model called Canvas Express. The newcomer is priced at just $113 and it will go on sale on December 8th. This budget model runs Android and has an interesting design.
The device will go on sale exclusively at Flipkart.com, coming in blue and silver. Inside it we find a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6582 processor, a quad core one and specs also include a 4.5 inch FWVGA display, Android 4.4.2, a 5 megapixel back camera, a 0.3 megapixel front shooter and dual SIM support. The handset also comes with a 1950 mAh battery, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
Micromax has bundled as well 3G support, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS here. Micromax Canvas Express has a series of preloaded apps offered here like BooMyShow, Games Club, Hike, Mi Games, Mi Insurance, Mi Pick, Opera Mini and Clean Master. There’s also support for the HotKnot file transfer feature, that allows users to transfer data between devices by simply tapping the units screen to screen.
