We entered 2016 and surprisingly there was have been very few leaks of Microsoft Lumia devices, as the world gravitates around the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 rumors. Well, today, the Microsoft Lumia 650 is back in the spotlight, courtesy of a major leak from Venturebeat.
They showed the world a hands on photo of the device, plus included a series of specs, also leaked on the web. The image is said to come from a device tester and shows the handset with a metal frame and a speaker grille below the screen. Specs-wise, there’s no surprise here, as we get a 5 inch 720p screen, 1 GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel back camera, not much of a departure from the Lumia 640.
The handset is said to run on the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor as the Lumia 550 and it’s powered by a mere 2000 mAh battery, kind of a strange choice, since the capacity is smaller than the one of the Lumia 640 and Lumia 550. This rumored model was also seen in previous leaks, that confirmed features like Quick Charge 2.0, dual SIM support, HD voice and WiFi calling.
This model was also listed in the AdDuplex monthly data report, under the codename RM-115(x).
