After finding out that the next handsets made by the Microsoft-integrated Nokia Devices will be called Microsoft Lumia, today we spotted a new handset of this kind. It’s dubbed RM-1089 and it has passed the FCC on October 23rd 2014.
The product is certified to work on mobile networks in the GSM and WCDMA bands and this model also comes with Bluetooth and WiFi. The latter is only available on the 2.4 GHz band, without support for the 5.x GHz one. The battery pack here is a BL-L4A and the handset runs Windows Phone 8.1, packing a 540 x 960 pixel display. The RM-1091 and RM-1090 models that have been leaked before bear similarities to this unit
Last we heard, the same battery mentioned above was spotted on the RM-1090, that was also packing a qHD display. We also had other details for that model, like a dual SIM card slot, a 71.1 mm wide case, a 5 inch display and mid to low end specs. We expect a Snapdragon 400 or 200 CPU here and a very low price.
