Microsoft has created an initiative called Imagine Cup, meant to gather the world’s best students in a technology-related competition. The challenge is designed to show how technology can solve the world’s current issues. The 2010 edition final took place in Warsaw, Poland and the winners received cash prizes.
Also, the 400 finalists were given a Windows Phone 7 prototype as a gift. We’ve seen the very same device at the MIX 2010 event in March and then in the hands of Engadget folks in late June. We’re curious if this will be first WP7 handset to make it on the market…
