If you’re looking to get away from the iPhone 4S frenzy, then you can purchase the brand new Motorola ATRIX 2, available now on AT&T priced at $100. This is the follow-up to the ATRIX 4G that was launched earlier this year. The handset comes with a larger and hotter looking 4.3 inch qHD touchscreen and an 8 megapixel camera.
The cam is capable of autofocus and comes with a flash as well, plus there’s a secondary videocall camera upfront for videochatting. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is present among the specs too, as well as a 1GHz dual core CPU, on top of that with 1GB of RAM. There’s also 8GB of internal storage and support for compatibility with the Lapdock laptop dock, that turns the ATRIX 2 into a netbook PC.
In case you were wondering, the $100 price tag applies to the AT&T new contract with 2 years of duration. The problem here is taht with the Motorola Droid HD/Spyder/RAZR coming I doubt that people will get excited about this phone…
