Motorola Atrix 2 has been in the news lately, overshadowed by the DROID RAZR model, but now it’s back in full force with a bunch of leaked pictures, specs and accessories. This model will come to AT&T first and it’ll be accompanied by the new Lapdock 100 for Webtop.

We’re dealing here with the handset previously codenamed Edison, but it appears that the name Atrix 2 is final. The Webtop array of accessories will include a HD Dock and Lapdock, but now let’s have a look at the device’s specs, shall we? Here they are:

  • Display: 4.3 inch, qHD
  • Camera: 8MP, autofocus, single LED flash
  • Memory: 1GB RAM, 8 GB on board storage, microSD card slot (2GB bundled)
  • Connectivity: HSPA+
  • Battery: 8.5 hours of talk time, 15.9 days in standby mode

As far as the new Lapdock 100 is concerned, this model measures 10.1 inches, so it’s smaller than its 11.6 inch predecessor and it’s also lighter. Next up, you should know that it connects to the handset via a cable, so there’s no need to integrate the Atrix 2 into the dock. And now let’s wait for an official launch date and hands on video…
