The powerful Motorola Atrix has just been announced for Canada, where it will be available through Bell with a 3 year contract, for $169.95. The offer starts from March 17 and it’s quite pricey when compared to the $129 that AT&T is asking for the device with a 2 year contract.

For this price you get a dual core 1 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM a 4 inch touchscreen, 16GB of internal storage and a huge 1930 mAh battery. There’s also a 5 megapixel camera on board, Android 2.2 as the OS, plus HSPA+ connectivity. There’s a fingerprint reader at the back of the handset and HDMI out in order to connect it to the TV.

As usual, this HSPA+ handset is called a 4G phone and if you’re in the Bell coverage area, know that the carrier is giving away one of 5 Motorola Atrix prize packs (includes the phone, a laptop dock and a HDMI multimedia dock).
