If you’re looking for a cheap texting device, Motorola Clutch i465 might be it and you should know that it’ll hit the market in Q2 2009. The handset is a hybrid between push-to-talk and a QWERTY keyboard, plus a familiar design and military toughness.

Moto Clutch i465 is resistant to shock, vibration, dust and solar radiation and it packs a 1130 mAh battery that provides 205 minutes of talk time and 100 hours of standby. The phone will work in 800/900 MHz bands, it’ll measure 54mm x 112.8mm x 14.9mm and it’ll support Bluetooth 1.2, microUSB connectivity and use a 2.5mm audio jack.

Clutch i465’s display is a 1.79 inch TFT with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution and its specs list also includes a camera with 4x zoom, video capture, plus 20MB of user memory and a full QWERTY keyboard.
