Telus has just announced the release of Motorola Defy, its latest MOTOBLUR handset. The product is available for $79.99 and it uses MOTOBLUR for syncing, streaming and backup purposes. This is a rugged device, in case you’re wondering and its screen is protected with the aid of the Gorilla Glass technology.

We’re dealing with an Android 2.2 device, with 32GB of storage, mobile WiFi hotspot feature and a 3.7 inch with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. Motorola’s trademark CrystalTalk Plus technology (voice amplification and background noise filter) provides crystal clear phone calls. Moto Defy also comes with a 5 megapixel camera with flash and the device is available at the priced mentioned above, with a 3 year contract.

You’ll pay $279.99 on a 3 year commitment and $329.99 for 1 year of contract. $379.99 gets you the device with no contract.
