Android Community has been reporting that more and more Motorola Droid handsets have been getting the Android 2.2 Froyo update recently. We’re talking official updates, OTA and courtesy of Verizon Wireless, so check your device right now, if you want a software upgrade.
What’s new? The usual speed and stability enhancements, with the possible lack of the wireless hotspot feature, that could have been removed by Verizon. In case you perform the update, drop us a line and let us know if the software includes the hotspot function.
