Many people are talking about the creepy date 11.11.11, but Motorola didn’t fear it, so they chose this as the official debut time for the Droid RAZR smartphone. The RAZR was announced in the same week with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, that stole the spotlight from the Motorola newcomer.

The new Motorola handset is available on Verizon Wireless, with a pricing of $299.99 on a new 2 year contract. The Droid RAZR is right now the thinnest Android smartphone the market, with a mere 7.1mm waistline, that will be hard to reach for about half a year or so, till technology evolves to this point. On board of the RAZR we find a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED Advanced screen, support for 4G LTE connectivity and an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording.

There’s also a 1.3 megapixel camera at the front with support 720p HD video calls and inside the device, there’s a TI OMAP4430 1.2gHz dual core brain, plus 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There’s also a 16GB microSD card bundled with the smartphone, so you get 32GB of storage from the start. Other than that you get a phone with a kevlar back, skinny allure and great specs.

Here’s a dramatic commercial for it:
