Motorola India just posted a teaser on Twitter, referring to a new product launch on June 15th. Their teaser seems to be beach-based, as it showcases the Motorola logo in sand, with seashells and starfish next to it. The clear hint is that we’re getting a waterproof beach phone, but we expect more than that.
Recently there have been leaks of the Motorola Moto X (2015) model, revealing its insides and a fingerprint scanner in the mix. The handset is expected to run Android 5.1 and feature a Quad HD 5.64 inch screen, as well as 3 GB of RAM or more, plus 32 GB of storage. An USB Type C port is also expected to make the cut, plus a brand new Snapdragon chipset.
And then we’ve got the Indian leak from a few days ago, when retailer Flipkart accidentally listed the Motorola Moto G third generation by mistake. They took the listing down, but the specs were spotted and seem to include a dual SIM setup, LTE, Snapdragon 610 CPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB camera and 8 GB of storage. And then there’s the Moto 360 2 watch, rumored even around I/O 2015 and said to come with a higher resolution, improved CPU and more customizable case.
A golden version and easier to remove straps are also rumored. Which one of these will be unveiled on the 15th?
