After being unveiled at MWC 2017, the Motorola Moto G5 Plus has just been launched comercially and it’s now available in India, starting at $228. The device has an all metal design and a Snapdragon 625 CPU inside.
This chipset option is very familiar, since we also saw it last year on popular models like the ASUS ZenFone 3 or the Huawei Nova. It also made it to the Moto Z Play. Interestingly, the Moto G5 Plus has arrived in India before the Moto G5, it seems. The device runs on Android Nougat and uses a nano repellent coating, plus it comes with a 5.2 inch Full HD screen, with Gorilla Glass on top.
Specs include 3 or 4 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a main 12 megapixel back camera with dual autofocus pixels. Selfies are taken with a 5 MP front cam and the 3000 mAh battery on board arrives with TurboPower fast charge. The $228 price tag mentioned above applies for the 3 GB / 16 GB model, while the 4 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage unit goes for $258.
They’re available exclusively on Flipkart.
