The Motorola Pro+ handset was made official back in August, but only today it came to the market, taking off in the UK. This model is available for 320 quid on Clove UK and on Amazon DE for 320 euros. An European debut of the handset is expected in the following weeks, with similar prices.
Motorola Pro+ comes with a single core 1GHz processor, a 3.1 inch VGA touch display with Gorilla Glass protection and a 4 row QWERTY keyboard. There’s also a 5MP photo sensor at the back and the device also comes with 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM and loads of connectivity options. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is the OS of choice and there’s also an Office app for viewing and editing documents, bundled with the phone.
Honestly speaking, the price is a tad high for what this phone offers and by today’s standards this is not a smartphone… at all. Even a Symbian Belle device such as the Nokia 700 sounds better, frankly speaking… maybe this model will be made appealing by contracts or other price reductions.
