RAZR 3 was supposed to be cancelled, as far as we know, but now it has turned up in a couple of press shots, bearing the name of Ruby VE1. Previously, it was rumoured to run Symbian UIQ3 and the interface you can check out in the new pics kind of confirms the old information.

What’s weird is that UIQ is no longer in development, because Nokia’s Symbian Foundation took over and thus Moto RAZR 3 got cancelled. Will Motorola change the UI and OS of the device and give it a go after all?

We think they should, because the device is quite hot, packing a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi and 3G support, pretty neat features for a clamshell.
