The portable device news of the moment comes from Moto, who’s readying goodies for the Chinese market, among which there’s also the Motorola Sholes XT701 tablet, that recently got pictured and specced in a more detailed way. The renderings pictured below come straight from the Ministry of Industry an Information Technology of the PRC (Chinese FCC).

This device has received its official certification, as claimed by BGR and it’s ready to take off on the Chinese market and on the Russian one as well, starting 2010. The tablet will run Android 2.1 and it’ll pack FM radio, a HDMI port and support for 720p video playback and recording.

There’s also a camera on board and it might an 8 megapixel unit, like it’s shown in these images, but the last leak related to Sholes mentioned a 5 megapixel camera, so we don’t know what to believe.
