We’ve heard about the Motorola XFON this week, as a potential codenamed for the upcoming Motorola X Phone aka the almost Nexus Phone. Now there’s a fresh leak of a device codenamed XT1058, that comes with AT&T LTE compatible bands and NFC and might as well be the XFON that already leaked.

Its model number also matches the rumors that mentioned codenames such as Yeti, Ghost or Sasquatch. @evleaks was the one posting XFON AT&T pics this week and the XT912 model was another candidate for the idea of an X Phone back in March. All of them could be exactly the same Motorola handset, the one that we’re all rubbing our hands to get to touch.

Google I/O is just days away and it will be a great occasion to come to meet the next champion of Android handsets, with or without Nexus branding. Last I heard, the X Phone was supposed to bring design innovation, a water and dust proof case, maybe a Snapdragon 800 CPU and a back touch area…
