Acer is among the many companies coming at MWC 2012 with fresh products, including the brand new CloudMobile handset, that was seen in the wild before the event in Barcelona started. Acer representatives were present during Milan’s Fashion Week, showing off the CloudMobile phone. The result were the shots below:
We’re dealing here with a 4.3 inch 720p phone with a dual core 1.5GHz processor, NFC, an 8 megapixel camera and Android 4.1 Ice Cream Sandwich. This smartphone is also the first one with AcerCloud technology, that enhances mobile productivity through seamless document management. NotebookItalia says that the CloudMobile is very fancy and has an appealing design. The handset is supposed to be very thin, with smooth lines and rounded edges and the pics here give you an idea on its design.
Acer is the winner of an IF Design Award in 2012 for quality and excellent in design so they know what they’re doing. The CloudMobile is expected to hit the market in Q3 2012 and from what I see here, the Android ICS experience is not customized at all, which is a good thing.
