Today Huawei introduced a few new and interesting devices at MWC 2014, including the Huawei MediaPad X1, that’s supposed to be a huge smartphone with a 7 inch screen. Obviously we were present at MWC 2014, through our sister site Mobilissimo.ro, that provided the hands on below.
In it you can see the speaker of the device, since it’s actually a phone and also in the pics below you can spot its resilient and pretty metallic case. As you can see, the software has been customized with a few playful icons, among others. The Huawei MediaPad X1 uses 2 GB of RAM and a quad core 1.6 GHz CPU, plus 16 GB of storage.
We get Android 4.2.2 and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The memory is expandable via microSD and this model comes with a high capacity battery, that’s actually able to charge other smartphones. I can spot a semicircle on the screen that gives you some sort of multitasking features. More intel can be found in the video below:
