Today, the guys from Mobilissimo.ro discovered a first image with a mysterious Sony device that was posted on the chinese platform Weibo, a smartphone that can be the next Sony flagship, the Xperia Z3. This one looks very attractive at first sight, and among the main features, we notice the very thin bezels.
As you can see, this device comes with a metalic frame and an almost edge-to-edge display thanks to a front facing panel that offers very slim bezels. Also, at the bottom we notice a new Sony logo, a design element that is very different from the actual Sony devices on the market.
This may suggest the fact that Sony is getting ready for a design rebranding by using a different font for their logo, or that the device in the picture above is just a fake. What do you think?
[UPDATE] – meanwhile we’ve made a little research and we discovered that the device showed up in the picture above it’s a fake! The Sony logo covers a Pantech logo, more precisely the device is a Pantech Vega Iron that is pictured below.
