There’s a new NEC Casio Medias handset out there and as the name tells you, this model is tied in with the famous watch brand Casio. The full name of the new model is NEC Casio Medias LTE N-04D, a device that’s available in Japan or better said it will be available in Japan starting next week, on local carrier NTT DoCoMo.

This phone is a little bit bulkier than its predecessor, at 11.6mm and if I remember well a phone from the Medias series was the first to go below 7mm in thickness. Back to the N-04D, this smartphone comes with a waterproof case, a 4.3 inch display based on LCD technology and supporting a 720p resolution. Specs also include 4G connectivity, a 1.2GHz dual core processor, mobile wallet and TV tuner. The unit is also compatible with Casio’s G-Shock watches via Bluetooth.

Said watches will display mail and call notifications in your reach. The phone enters the stores on February 15t and it’s available in orange and black, as shown in this photo. Japanese consumers can order one right now from DoCoMo.
