After it was announced back in October, now the NEC LaVie Tab S tablet is available in stores for a $283 price tag (WiFi), or $344 for the version that comes with LTE. For this amount of money, we’ll get a slim attractive tablet with high-end specs and an Intel Atom processor inside the case.

NEC LaVie Tab S brings a 8-inch Full HD LDD display, a quad-core Intel 64-bit processor clocked at 1.33 GHz, 2 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB space of internal storage, LTE, and a battery that promises up to 8 hours of web browsing. We also get GPS connectivity, Bluetooth and a microUSB v2.0 port.

This tablet weighs 305 grams and it measures only 7.9 mm in thickness, so we’re dealing with a pretty slim tablet. Also, its overall design isn’t bad at all. What do you think about this device?
