There’s a new Huawei handset in town, a model with an AMOLED screen that just got certified by TENAA. In spite of sounding good on paper, it looks like an average plastic budget or midrange offering and we don’t have any idea about its name.
The phone is expected to be part of the Huawei Enjoy series and it resembles the Huawei Enjoy 5s model from last year quite a bit, minus the rear camera location and back cover. Of course we also have specs available courtesy of the TENAA listing. Those include a 1.5 GHz octa core processor, a 4000 mAh battery and a 5 inch AMOLED screen.
The display has a 720p resolution and we also seem to be getting a fingerprint scanner, judging by the back side. The TENAA listing mentions 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, plus a 13 megapixel back camera and 5 MP front shooter, while the OS is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This may end up as a rival for the Xiaomi Redmi and Meizu Blue Charm models.
