It’s been a week since the US authorities gave the jailbreaking and unlocking of phones the legal green light and now we learn about the most user friendly way to jailbreak a handset. So, if you find yourself running iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1 or iPad 3.2.1 on an Apple device, you’ll just have to access the JailBreakMe site and be done with it.
Comex is the hacker/developer behind this initiative, involving the http://jailbreakme.com site, that must be accessed from the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad in order for the jailbreak to take place. In spite of the Government’s blessing, jailbreaking your iPhone still breeches your warranty, though.
