After a period of teasing and leaks, LeTV finally launched today its Le series phones, all of them premiering USB Type C ports. Another premiere is brought on by the Le 1 model, that’s the very first smartphone with the new MediaTek Helio X10 processor. The three newcomers are Le 1Pro, Le Max and Le 1.
I’ll remind you that LeTV is a Chinese company that delivers a video service very popular in China. Now they got into the hardware biz with a series of handsets, including the 5.5 inch Full HD LeTV Le 1 model, that offers a MediaTek Helio X10 octa core processor, clocked at 2.2 GHz, plus 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. This unit’s starting price is $240 for the 16 GB version and we can’t help but notice the ultraslim bezels, merely 1.2 mm in thickness.
All these phones have dual stereo speakers flanking their USB Type C ports, as well as LTE support, dual SIM slots and their batteries go past 3000 mAh or stay at it. LeTV 1Pro has a Quad HD 5.5 inch screen, a Snapdragon 810 CPU and 4 GB of RAM, as well as HiFi acoustics and a starting price of $402. Le Max is the model that stands out the most, with a back remind us of the HTC One Max and iPhone 6 Plus format-wise, featuring a fingerprint scanner in the mix.
As shown in the images these models will come in gold, silver and a white glossy version.
