Modu is set to announce a new modular handset on October 10 2010, during a press conference that will reveal the details concerning the T-Phone model. Modu T-Phone is a mystery for now, but we know that it’s an Android device, based on a core unit and “jackets”.

Just like the first modu device, these jackets can enhance the handset’s functionality and they seem to include a physical keyboard, stereo speakers and even gaming controls. The core unit will sport a touch display, WiFi and GSM or CDMA 3G.
