After seeing a lot of pictures of the back of the Nexus 5, that even got a new name this week (Nexus 4 2013), it’s time to check out the device’s manual, or what seems to be its manual. We’ve got pictures, documents and charts related to this new handset.
This is the internal service manual for the LG-D821 model, that was previously believed to be a version of the LG G2. This manual was posted to Scribd and offers a detailed look on the new Nexus handset. There’s a lot of technical details, flow charts, diagrams, pictures and more. We get confirmation of the 4.95 inch Full HD screen, an IPS TFT apparently, together with 32 or 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM.
There’s the mention of a Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz CPU, 8 MP OIS camera, 1.3 MP front cam, a 2300 mAh battery, a microSIM card slot, NFC and 4G LTE. We’ve got slimport support, a notification light and wireless charging. Strangely enough, the documents are saying that the size of the device is the same with the one of the Nexus 4, that can’t be.
There’s also a mystery circle on the front of the handset, that may be the earpiece or maybe a fingerprint scanner.
