Twitter is once providing us with info, concerning the next device to get the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OTA update. After learning that Samsung Galaxy S will indeed receive the update at some point and seeing a Gingerbread port on Wildfire, we learn from Google itself that the Nexus One will also receive the new software.

Last we heard, before Gingerbread was even out, some stats-publishing websites on web traffic claimed that Nexus One test units were out there, already running both Android 2.3 and even the 3.0 Honeycomb. Well, at least we’re certain that Google Nexus One owners will make the official upgrade in the coming weeks.
