Today Nokia announced no less than 3 new phones, bringing the Internet to the emerging markets. Along with Nokia 2720 fold and Nokia 7020, the Finns also announced Nokia 2730 classic, the handset you can check out in the image below.
We’re dealing with the most affordable 3G phone made by Nokia, one that’s priced at EUR 80 and provides fast access to the Internet, plus a great browsing experience. The handset will start shipping in Q3 2009 and such a release in emerging markets does justice to the recent studies showing that customers would rather connect to the Internet over a mobile handset, as opposed to a PC.
In order to fulfil those needs, Nokia developed relevant solutions, like affordable Internet phones and services like Ovi Mail and Nokia Life Tools.
