Nokia has recently started offering a firmware update for its first touchscreen music phone, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. The new firmware, v11.0.08 fixes quite a handful of bugs and, as usual, it “improves the system stability”.

The change-log of the new firmware shows that Nokia solved the missing Google search box issue, fixed the crashing apps (messaging and phone book) and upgraded the web browser that works with Flash content without problems now. Symbian S50 5th Edition v11.0.08 firmware can be downloaded through the Nokia Software Updater application.

As usual, you should back up your data and charge the phone before the update.
