A surprise announcement came today from Nokia and HMD Global, two companies that officially unveiled their first new phone named Nokia 6. This one is a mid-range smartphone, and according to some rumors we’ll see six other mobile devices from the two companies above during this year.
One thing you should know is that Nokia 6 will be available for the moment just in China through JD.com retailer for about $240. From the design point of view, this smartphone brings a case made out of a single piece of 6000 Series Aluminum that goes through 2 separate anodizing processes and take up to 10 hours to complete.
In terms of specs, we’re getting here a 5.5 inch display with Gorilla Glass and 2.5D glass, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 4 GB of RAM + 64 GB of internal storage and a 16 megapixel rear camera with PDAF. There’s a 8-megapixel front-facing sensor for selfies and we’re getting Android 7.0 Nougat preinstalled on the device.
