Nokia Lumia 822 is the same thing as the Lumia 820, but in the Verizon version. The device was leaked in a hands on picture yesterday and now good old @evleaks published a render of the handset, looking very official in black, gray and white. The phone will support wireless charging and it will get a special charging pad accessory.
Rumors say that there will be no swappable shells for the device, so you’ll have to settle with these colors. Last I heard, this smartphone was priced at $99 on contract, $100 less than the HTC 8X, for example. You should expect this product to hit Verizon in early November and it should come with LTE, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and a 4.3 inch ClearBlack Display.
It also has an 8 megapixel camera at the back, a dual core Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz processor and a battery that offers 330 hours of standby and 8 hours of talking. NFC and Bluetooth 3.0 round up the features list, together with 16 GB of storage. Are you getting one? Or saving up for the Surface Phone?
