What we initially thought was a piece of news about Nokia Lumia 800 getting more colours available turned out to be a big time leak of the Nokia Lumia 900. Microsoft France was doing an event that showed the people various colors of the Lumia 800 model, including the new yellow and white hues when suddenly everyone on the web realized that the phones on screen don’t look like the Lumia 800…
For one thing, the spacing of the capacitive buttons at the bottom is different, there seems to be a front camera on the handset and overall the smartphone looks wider. After the folks of mynokiablog posted this speculation about the Lumia 900, Dave Trevaskus, a Senior Training Consultant for Nokia Academy tweeted that “there are some eagle eyed people out there”, which is maybe a joke, but maybe a confirmation of the identity of the phone.
One thing’s for sure: this doesn’t look like the Nokia Lumia 800 we know and recently reviewed. If everything goes well we’ll see the Lumia 900 (Ace) at CES 2012, sporting a 4.3 inch AMOLED display, an 8 megapixel camera, a 1.4GHz processor, Windows Phone Tango and maybe even LTE connectivity. Design-wise we get a bigger Lumia 800, if you want… Are you excited about his newcomer?
