Nokia Maps 3.0 (updated) comes with a 3D view mode that allows you to tilt the view by pressing 2 and 8, a cleaned up My Favourites menu and a History list placed higher in the menu. The “My Places” menu features a “Point me to” option, that shows saved landmarks and how to get there.

The start-up sequence takes you right to your current position on the map, or to the last known one, in case the current one is not found. By using the updated Nokia Maps software, you’ll be able to rotate the map and view 3D landmarks from all directions, simply by pressing 4 and 6 in map view.

You can find out more about the new features of the software right here.
