A codename associated to a new Nokia phone has been floating on the interwebs for a while now. That name is Nokia Monarch and today we uncover what the phone is all about. Apparently it’s a rebranded Lumia 635…

@evleaks has leaked the fact that Monarch and the Lumia 635 are one and the same, but the Monarch stands for its T-Mobile version. This model is expected to be released in May and pack a 4.5 inch IPS LCD screen with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution. It also has 8 GB of storage, 512 MB of RAM, a microSD card slot and HSDPA connectivity.

There’s also Bluetooth 4.0, a 5 MP camera, Windows Phone 8.1 and a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.2 GHz CPU. This is one of the phone models announced at BUILD, being among the first to run Windows Phone 8.1. This device stands out from the Lumia 630 through the fact it has LTE connectivity.
